The working mechanism of roller press and the cause analysis of roller surface wear, roller press is the use of high-pressure material layer crushing mechanism, using single particle crushing group working mode for continuous work. There are three stages in roller press operation: compression stage, extrusion stage and expansion stage. In these three stages, the pressing stage is the most important. In order to complete the bed grinding, a sufficient number of materials must be pulled and pressed into the roll gap (the narrowest part) stably and continuously in this stage to carry out the bed grinding (extrusion stage). The maximum pressure in the extrusion zone can reach 200MPa. It needs a lot of friction and considerable gravity to pull the material from the normal pressure into the zone. Moreover, if there is any fluctuation in the quantity or performance of the material being fed, the pulling process will stop, or the pulling amount will be reduced, resulting in fluctuations in production. In the compaction stage, if the material can not be compacted well, the most common phenomenon is that the pressure does not go up during the extrusion grinding operation in the extrusion stage, the practical power is low, and the grinding effect is poor. The operating pressure of the roller press must be appropriate. If the pressure is too low, the roller press can not play a normal grinding role and the effect will be reduced. However, in order to improve the operation efficiency of the grinding roll, it will cause serious wear. The biggest disadvantage is the wear of roller surface. It can be seen that maintaining the stability of the feed level, the stable feed rate and feed pressure is the necessary condition to maintain the normal and efficient operation of the roller press.
